I am still finishing this piece. There is a green pinecone on the upper corner of the dish; but I like the way the pattern has turned out. It's been refreshing to work with such a different pallette.

Is the artist on hiatus? Walkabout? Sabbatical? Vacation? Bird flu watch? Monkey pox watch?
I'm out of strange illnesses.
The artist is/was dealing with Christmas. I have started a new (larger) oil painting that I won't post until it's further along. And I also completed a commission for my parents - abstract, large, acrylic. I wasn't going to post it because it didn't seem in the same vein as the rest of the work, but perhaps I will.
